If you are experiencing slow internet speeds, verify how many devices are connected to your modem. If you have too many devices using the internet at the same time, this can slow down the speed for each device. Try turning off or disconnecting devices which are not needed in use. If you are connected to the modem using Wi-Fi, try moving closer to the modem. If you are too far away, you may be out of range of the Wi-Fi signal, causing interruptions in your connection. If you are having issues connecting to Wi-Fi, click here.
Other conditions that can affect the quality of your connection include multiple walls between the modem and your devices, interference from other networks close by, and interference from certain appliances, especially microwave ovens and cordless telephones. Try moving further away from such appliances.
It's possible that the issue is with the site you are visiting, and not with your computer or connection. You can try again later, or try visiting another site to see if you experience the same issue.
If necessary, you can test your internet speed through the GTA admin portal at http://speedtest.teleguam.net/
